About us

Rooted in Regina. Here for our neighbours.

Regina Community Hope Society is a non-profit organization that provides community support to individuals and families in need, with the goal of improving community well-being and quality of life.

Who we are

A community that looks out for one another

Life can be hard to navigate, especially when you're getting older, new to Canada, living on a low income, or going through a difficult time.

Regina Community Hope Society exists so that no one has to figure it out alone. We offer practical, everyday help: settling into a new country, getting a ride to an appointment, finding the right service, or simply having someone to talk to.

We work with seniors, low-income individuals and families, new immigrants and newcomers to Canada, and other vulnerable members of our community. Everyone who reaches out is treated with patience, kindness and respect.

Our mission

To support individuals and families in need, including seniors, low-income individuals, newcomers to Canada and vulnerable community members, through settlement assistance, community outreach, social support, transportation and connection to essential services.

Our vision

A Regina where every person feels welcome, supported and able to live with dignity, health and hope.

Our values

What guides our work

These values shape how we treat every person who walks through our door or picks up the phone.

Dignity & respect

Every person deserves to be treated with kindness, patience and respect, no matter their circumstances.

Welcome & inclusion

People of every culture, language, faith, age and background are welcome here.

Compassion

We listen first and meet people where they are, without judgement.

Practical help

We focus on real, everyday support that makes a noticeable difference in people's lives.

Trust & privacy

We handle your personal information with care and only share it with your permission.

Community

Our work is powered by neighbours: volunteers, donors and partners who care about Regina.

Who we serve

Support for those who need it most

Our services are open to people across Regina who could use a helping hand.

  • Seniors who want to stay independent, connected and able to get where they need to go.
  • New immigrants and newcomers to Canada who are settling into life in Regina.
  • Low-income individuals and families looking for support and access to essential services.
  • Vulnerable community members facing isolation, hardship or uncertainty.
  • Family members, friends and workers looking for help on behalf of someone they care about.
Our approach

How we work with people

Person first

We start by listening. Every situation is different, and support should fit the person, not the other way around.

Plain language

We explain things clearly and simply, and take the time to make sure everything makes sense.

Connected

We work alongside other local organizations and services, so people get to the right help faster.

Want to help, or need a hand?

Whether you're looking for support or want to give your time, we'd love to hear from you.
